1st birthday party

On March 27th, we had Xander's birthday party at the park near our house. Both sets of grandparents were there, along with cousins, family, and friends. We had a jumping castle, duck pond, fishing booth, and bean bag toss. Erik and his father cooked hamburgers and hotdogs. Plus there were adorable cupcakes, and delicious cake and cookies! Everyone had a fantastic time!

Learning to walk

Xander started taking steps at 10 months, and he was really walking by the time he was 11 months. Here is a video with some of our favorite memories.

Well Xander has learned to walk--and now he is into all kinds of trouble. His new name is Mr. Destruct-O-Con! He gets stuck in the doggie door, eats the dog food, pulls the books off the shelves, carries toliet paper around the house, and in general gets into everything! We love it!
